Dr. Sabrina Jafralie (She/Her/Elle) is an award-winning bilingual educator and activist.
She is frequently featured in the media to discuss issues relating to Black Lives Matter (BLM), antiracism, religion, ethics and education. She has been interviewed by CBC News, the Montreal Gazette and CityNews.

Based in Canada, Dr.Jafralie is fluent in both English and French, and has over 20 years of combined experience as a secondary school teacher in both Canada and the United Kingdom. She is a university lecturer, diversity and equity education specialist, and has been a guest speaker at international conferences on the subject of religious literacy and ethics.
In 2001, Dr.Jafralie obtained her undergraduate degree in education from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She received her Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Concordia University. Subsequently, she received her Ph.D. in Teacher Education from McGill University in 2017.
In 2019, ByBlacks.com awarded Dr.Jafralie the Activist of the Year Award. In previous years she received the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) Outstanding Teaching Award from McGill University, the Award for Teaching Excellence from the Prime Minister’s Office, the Vera Jamieson Award for Outstanding Dedication in Education from Westmount High School, in addition to several other academic and community honours.
Dr.Jafralie is a leader in teacher education, racial and religious literacy, and diversity. She is committed to helping citizens by diversifying curriculums, policies and training. She focuses on examining religious literacy, racial diversity, and community building through purposeful dialogue. Dr.Jafralie believes creating honest dialogue with openness and direction helps people build relationships with each other and communities.
As a diversity and equity specialist, Dr.Jafralie has worked with a variety of organizations to build sustainable and tangible diversity and equity initiatives.
